‘Professional negligence’ is a breach of the duty of care between those supplying professional services, such as Solicitors, and their clients. Duty of care is the common law arrangement where a client can expect certain standards and level of professionalism.
If you have been a victim of poor or negligent advice received from a Solicitor, you may be able to either make a complaint or take legal action against the individual or firm concerned.
